The Jacobs-led team will serve as MARTA\'s CPMO Supplemental Services Consultant and manage the construction aspects. A joint venture between Jacobs and H. J. Russell & Company - was selected to support the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) as they embark on their expansion program. This position will be hired through the Joint Venture Program, JRMT (JACOBS RUSSELL MARTA TEAM) Summary of position Manages all aspects of Project Design. Provides overall project management and coordination with architectural/engineering professionals. Coordinates with staff, other agency officials, local governments, architects/engineers, etc., to develop preliminary schedules, procurement project requirements, and detailed scope of work estimates by developing the design documents for bid. Manages the development of feasibility and environmental impact studies, preliminary engineering, and conceptual designs for major capital investments. Manages the preparation of project scopesof work, plans, schedules, and budgets. Manages all aspects of Project Implementation. Manages project procurement of material, equipment, and contractors, as well as all construction activities necessary to execute capital projects. Manages the quality and safety of work performed on capital projects. Implements change management processes and carries out project communications throughout the organization. Coordinates the acquisition of real estate parcels required for capital projects. Performs Project Monitoring & Controlling. For the project life cycle, manage the preparation of progress reports to monitor and control capital projects. Monitors all aspects of projects assigned. Manages the schedules and budgets to ensure positive project performance. Conducted monthly project status briefs for upper management.
